| The provision of reliable and up -
to - date information, on a wide spectrum of business - related issues
is also achieved through the Chamber's own publications. These publications
include the monthly newspaper "Emporoviomichaniki", which
contains inter - alia a large number of trade enquiries, co - operation
offers and tenders, the three specialised directories on Services,
Exports and Imports that include the names and addresses of all the
CCCI members classified in accordance with their specific business
activities, as well as a range of other publications dealing with
issues such as the Harmonisation of the economic and business sector
of Cyprus with the Acquis Communautaire, the Euro, Labour relations
and legislation, State aid policy and its effects on the business
sector, Exports, Business subsidy schemes, e.t.c.
Moreover, the Chamber publishes a large number of booklets, leaflets
and pamphlets which provide information about its structure and
the various services it provides to the business people but also
the public at large. |

| The Chamber is the sole official representative
in Cyprus of the Office for Official Publications
of the European Communities (EUR - OP).
The Sales Office at the Chamber receives copies of all official publications
of the European Union, both monographs and periodical publications,
as well as the so called "off - line" products (CD - ROMs
and diskettes). The Chamber is also the representative of the Community
on - line database CELEX, covering in this way a large spectrum of
European issues and activities. All these publications are available
for purchase not only by the business community but also by the public
at large.
The Chamber also offers for sale all the publications of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) which cover issues of international trade, transport, business law, banking, insurance, e.t.c. These publications are unique in their kind and constitute a valuable aid for businessmen, bankers, advocates, legal advisors, researchers, trainers and consultants. The publications of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), ex GATT, are also available through the Chamber which is the official distributor for these publications. The publications concern inter - alia annual economic reports and reports on world trade, international trade statistics, legal texts, agreements, market research reports, e.t.c. It is also to be noted that the library of the CCCI has been appointed by WTO as a depository library for its publications in Cyprus, with the aim of achieving the maximum exposure for the publications in question. Officially distributed by the Chamber in Cyprus, are also the United Nations Publications covering various sectors and issues such as economic, legal, environmental, political and social sciences, e.t.c. The Chamber is additionally the official representative in Cyprus of the publishing house Euroconfidentiel, which is one of the biggest publishers in Europe, specialising in directories and indices concerning organisations and bodies of the European Union. Last but not least, the CCCI is the official distributor of John Wiley & Sons publications in Cyprus. This publishing house is internationally acknowledged for its rich publishing activity in fields such as the European Union, law, management, accounting, computers, the Internet, environmental issues, business strategy, medicine, psychology, mathematics and much more. |
