Do you want to find out in a simple and coherent way the activities, policies and the institutions of what is known as the European Union? Then the European Reference Centre (ERC) at the CCCI is your answer.

If you are not in Nicosia, then visit the Euro Info Points, hosted at the local Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Limassol, Larnaca, Pafos and Famagusta (Paralimni). These Points give the opportunity to all citizens to come closer and get to know the European Union through the printed as well as electronic information available using new technology and more specifically computers and the Internet - and all these from the region in which you are located.

Has a specific Directive or Regulation been adopted yet? What is going on and what do the members of the European Parliament think of the late payments or the mad cow disease? The CCCI, being a member of the European Parliament Information Correspondents (EPICOR), is in a position to answer any question you may have relating to the European Union, in co - operation with the European Parliament's Information Office with which the CCCI is in direct contact via the Internet.

At the Euro Info Centre (EIC) you can get specialised information directly related to your business interests and concerns.

Our specially trained staff can answer all these questions and many more, using modern technology to achieve fast results. The EIC at the Chamber is on-line with all 300 EICs around the world, as well as with the European Union on-line databases (e.g. CELEX, Rapid, Ted), which provide timely and valid data on a vast spectrum of European Union issues such as legislation, official announcements, reports and documents. At the same time, through the Partner Search System operating at the EIC you can express your interest to locate a partner abroad and get in touch with your future potential partners.

Would you like to subscribe to the Official Journal of the EU in paper or electronic format? Do you wish to be informed regularly on the developments of the European Economy? Do you want to have the latest legislation and document series on the Union's Internal Market at your office? The most recent report of the Commission on Competition? A vast variety of both topics and publications awaits you at the Sales Office of the Official Publications of the European Communities (EUR-OP) operating at the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Obtain new or older official publications that are of interest to you and which concern the nature of your business. The choice is yours: paperback, CD-ROM, diskette or become a subscriber and have direct access from your own office to the EU electronic databanks on the internet such as CELEX (EU legislation and court reports).

In addition to the EUR-OP publications, the CCCI also represents the Euroconfidentiel publishing house, one of the largest publishers in Europe specialising in directories and indices of organisations and institutions of the European Union.
